| 描述: | Male voice reading second verse of W.B.Yeats' In Memory of Eva GoreBooth and Con Markiewicz.Request from user Sinead_Finegan http://www.freesound.org/forum/samplerequests/33020/ I'm going to rerecord this one at some stage. Check my more recent files to see if I've got round to it yet... Source NotesA few people have asked about using this in songs. As long as you abide by the license then you can use it as you like. You may want to learn a little about the background of the work the sisters of the title were later involved in Irish nationalist politics; one of them was sentenced to death for her part in the Easter Rising of 1916 (though the sentence was never carried out). The second verse (recorded here) returns to the enduring poetic theme of the ravages of time.
