| 描述: | Fountain located in downtown Saskatoon, Canada, recorded by David Puls on September 10th 2009. The source was captured with a matched pair of Josephson C42 microphones through a Rolls phantom power unit and into a Tascam DR07 portable solidstate recorder. The files were then loaded into Pro Tools for editing (removal of cars, jets, voices etc). This is an excerpt from the original 20 minute recording. Please note: Being a small fountain the water didn't sound 'wet' enough. The original file actually sounded like paper being crumpled or a fierce fire. We therefore slowed the recording down by one octave in Cool Edit Pro which gave the sound we wanted. |
