I have found these sounds coming from subway and train stations, the shelves grocery stores, temples, trucks driving through small mountain towns, and the sidewalks of cities across the country. These voices have many things to announce fruits and veggies for sale, a buy one get one free sale on hand soap, a request to put on a mask, a polite reminder not to swim in the lake, an invitation to come in and have a look at fresh baked bread.
