| 描述: | I got into a theoretical discussion with a friend who owns a modular synth. It is surprisingly difficult to create random or chaotic control signals using only LFOs meaning truly chaotic.Because of that I decided to add a envelope to the mix. I created a virtual modular in Reason.I have 2 LFOS (one sine and the other a stepped rampup), the LFOs subtly modulate certain parameters of each other (frequency, volume). One of the LFOs goes through a waveshaper and then the shaped signal is added to the other LFO and used to trigger a polyphonic synth (just realized now when typing this that it was in polyphonic mode, that was not my initial intention). The filter on the synth is switched off and the filter envelope is instead used to control the waveshaper drive and the phase of one of the LFOs That is the best I can do to describe what is going on. It is late and the virtual cable spaghetti is more than my brain can try to untangle ... |
