| 描述: | A sort of dirge for members of the Peoples Temple who died 18 November 1978. Samples the “Death Tape” recorded at the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project (Jonestown), Guyana, digitized by Olen Sluder and hosted by the Internet Archive. This track focuses on Peoples Temple member Christine Miller's recorded attempt to dissuade the group's patriarch Jim Jones from initiating the mass murdersuicide that followed. Referring to the many children of Jonestown, she said, "Not that I'm afraid to die. By no means. But I look at our babies and I think they deserve to live, you know?" |
