| 描述： | I've remixed these before and god knows what lead me to do them again. Oh, I remember, aimlessly browsing my samples collection in search of inspiration. Here is the original sample: http://www.freesound.org/people/grizzbiz15/sounds/134075/ And here is my remix of it: http://www.freesound.org/people/toiletrolltube/sounds/180120/ So it's a remix of a remix. I admit the sound, especially in the low frequencies is awful (in fact all), and I've tried tons of different filters, effects, eq etc to achieve the sound I'm seeking, but no luck as yet. I'm very tempted to do an audio engineering course at this point, 'cause I'm just not disciplined enough to learn this stuff on my own. Anyway, I digress. What I've done with these is quite simple. I've stretch them again just ever so slightly in Cool Edit using quite high splicing frequencies (2500Hz) with zero overlapping hence the nasty sound. In addition, I've applied distortion from the free vst plugin TriDirt. What actually occurred from this method was a snarelike sound. So I've further processed it with Nectar 2 using the repeat effect, some more distortion and chorus. I've left the samples as raw as possible. Oh, and I've copy/pasted parts in a haphazard way by hand, i.e: no beat detection software, just by ear and eye. So they're not perfectly timed loops. Bloody hell, long description. Hope someone out there can make them sound better. Good luck. |
