| 描述: | A sound for the "modular heads"... Are the fans of analogue bleeps and squeaks destined to forever envy those who can afford the cost and space to have a modular synth? Ney, I say Hand yourself not to the depthnesses of dispairModularlike sounds are within reach of the common mortals and here are a few experiments to prove it. In Reason 8, armed only with Reason's most basic synth (Subtractor) and Pulsar (Reason's free "demo" rack extension, which is basically 2 LFOs and an envelope), plus using Reasons reverb machine on multitap delay mode.I did not even have to use the envelope from Pulsar, only the LFOs...Did not even have to fiddle much with the default preset from Subtractor...And there is no note playing, MIDI or sequencing involved: All the sounds are triggered by the LFOs fed to Subtractor's gate and CV input. What could be easier? |
