| 描述: | SaasFee (1800 meters above sea level, Switzerland) is surrounded by a number of high mountains. A considerable part of those mountains is covered in ice and snow. During summer, the glaciers melt and produce a massive amount of melt water that runs through various stages before running into the Feevispa River that leaves the valley in the north. The main glacier shrinks by approximately 58 meters per year, possibly because of climate change. This is one from a series of fieldrecordings I made of the different stages the water goes through, using a Sony PCMD50 recorder during summer 2010. This one captures water from the Mittaghorn mountain and Plattjen in Innere Wald, south of SaasFee. Two small currents come together and run through a drainage pipe under the footpath. |
