| 描述： | This recording is part of the microphonecomparisonfreighttrainmp3sample pack. The three samples in this series were recorded simultaneously (fromapproximately the same position) with three different standard stereomicrophone arrangements: midside (mixed into LR), XY cardioid, andwith a Jecklin disk. The 5'34" recordings capture a long freight train (with a helicopterflying overhead) passing approximately 10 feet in front of themicrophones (from left to right) in Berkeley, California (USA) onSeptember 17, 2006. This recording was made with a Rode NT4 XY stereo microphone (witha Rycote "Windjammer") connected to a Marantz PMD671 digitalrecorder at 96K/24bits.
