| 描述: | Reprocessed previous upload. Recorded at Boykin Springs park off Hwy 63, about 10 miles out of Zavalla, Texas, first week in March 2010. Tried leaving more dynamic in this sample. Just plain sounds better to me with the trickling sound more lively, bright, and such. Tried keeping all limiting to a bare minimum for all peaks so transients wouldn't be dull. I really wanted to keep the dancing, trickling sound of the splashes in there. Technical: Due to the stereo mic I used, I adjusted the stereo width out to about 120° from 90. I personally like a stereo width that feels wide in both speakers and headphones alike, with min phase cancel. Everything under 600 Hz had to be shelved down due to distant roar of multiple waterfalls in the park. If I'd used mics with better low end, there would've been a lot more to smooth out. Think I'll find another stream without waterfalls, either way. |
