| 描述： | My personal attempt at recreating a portion of the 'assimilation speech' given by the Borg aliens from the Star Trek franchise. (NOTE: Star Trek and all its holdings belong to Paramount/CBS and its affiliates; do not use this recording for commercial purposes) The Borg are a race of cybernetic organisms that seek to attain perfection through forcibly implanting and absorbing other lifeforms and their technology into a collective consciousness. They are one of the Star Trek franchise's most enduring and feared villains. This sample was produced with Logic Pro and the standard Apple texttospeech program, as well as thirdparty audio plugins. SCRIPT: "We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile." (FOOTNOTE: Yes, I know 'futile' isn't pronounced that way in the show most of the time, but this pronunciation has been used on Star Trek: The Next Generation as well as Voyager on occasion Blame Apple for deciding how their voice pronounces things, haha) |
