| 描述: | June 2nd 2008 civil defense siren warning system test. Sirens heard: in the order they fire up:(1)Maunalua Bay Thunderbolt 1000T, superhigh pitched. It was a close 1/4 mile away from my position. You can hear the siren's supercharger. (2)Niu Valley Shopping Center STL10: 1 mile away, busy blowing out the eardrums of customers at the KFC it's located by.(3)Kuliouou valley Modulator 3012: 3/4 mile away(4)Hanauma Bay Thunderbolt 1000T, normal. 2 miles away, on top of a hill.(5)Hahaione valley EOWS 612, faintly heard in the distance after all the other sirens quit. Sounded for more than 4 minutes. 11/4 miles away. Background noises: annoying construction, nice beach waves, light traffic noise, minimal wind. Recorded with a Roland Edirol R09: AGC off, low gain, low pass filter on, input level: 30 (max). |
