| 描述: | Part four of my Southern sabbatical, and probably the saddest. I listened to some old Louis Armstrong vinyl the other night and have tried to recreate the vibe from an old jazz hall somewhere in New Orleans. Most of the hooks are borrowed from somewhere or the years of forced listening from my parents as a child. Hey but nothn is new in New Orleans, isn't that why they call it the Big Easy? The secret ingredient is Panu's fine words and delivery; a bit difficult at times fashioning the band around the emotional twists and turns. More key changes and mood swings than that Southern Louisiana wind. Hats off to all those brave souls down in Hurricane land that have endured (and still are) the horrible things that I can only experience briefly on CNN. My condolences to those that have lost loved ones and livelihoods. I've added the upright piano and double bass parts, they may be useful :) |
