It doesn't exactly evolve or at least it does very subtly, and the swishing sound in the mid highs is constant throughout, but I couldn't do it. First the .png image was converted to a 61mb bitmap, then imported as raw data in Cool Edit where it was filtered with dtblkfx using positive contrast no stretching involved. The sound was then processed in Sonar 7 with GRM Reson Comb filters, Ozone 4 and Virsyn Reflect. Then a little more post eq in Cool Edit, could do with a little more work though, but I don't want to kill it, and at one point it needed a little dynamic eq; that part might hurt your ears. I'll upload the unprocessed version after this. I used 'sinister' in the tags because that's how my daughter always describes these sounds I process. :) Adjust to taste. |
