| 描述: | Longish register of luxuriant marsh ambiance in really wide stereo (some may say there's a hole in middle; I don't see any emptiness). Nearly a documentary, could bore most people except unrepentant nature lovers: weird funny sounds produced by male Coot calling, fighting/splashing around; Sand Martins, Swallows, Little Greb, Mallard, sheep bleats in background... some wind noise at times. You won't need to crank the amplifier this time, sources were real close to the mics. Recorded a glorious cold morning near Caño de Guadiamar (Doñana, S Spain) with a pair of widely spaced Shure WL183 omnidirectional mics, a FEL preamp, and an iRiver iHP120 recorder. The companion sample 20080302.guadiamar.midside.flac has basically the same sounds in it, but it's still eight minutes longer: that was the time it took me to come back from Nirvana, turn the backup gear used here on, and start dubbing the main setup. The lucky reaction produced this file. |
