| 描述: | This locomotive passing by sound was fully made with audacity. I started by generated .25 second of rose noise. I edited this short sample to soften the attack as well as the release of the sound.It sounded like an engine releasing pressure. In a new track I copied this sample and shifted it a bit forward in time,so that the sounds would closely follow each other. I lowered the level of this second sound, as well as its frequency. To complete my sample, I copied the whole part and pasted it after itself, and I reduced the frequency of this new part. I then repeated the sample a certain amount of time to make the sound last 8 seconds. I added a mono track and copied the whole sound in it. I assigned the first track to the left ear and the new track to the right ear.I faded in the first track on its whole length, and did the same thing on the other track bu I faded it out.It allowed me to create the passing by effect. After that, I tweaked the sound a little bit by adding some reverb and by enhancing the lower frequency of the sound. I tried to simulate the Doppler effect that a train passing by would generate by lowering the frequency of the sound as the train passed in front of the listener, but it would generate some random high pitch noise that I couldn't erase without altering the rythm of the sample. Si on analyse seulement une impulsion complexe de ce son, l'attaque est assez rapide et mène a un peak très fort. Le relâchement après ce peak est lui presque instantané. |
