| 描述: | Drone sound created with a Korg Monotron Duo and Ableton Live 8, using Live's built in effects. This sound starts with static (line noise) and because I have used a bit crusher in the signal chain you get a characteristic low bitrate 'white' noise. Long metallic ressonating drone overlaps with the low bitrate noise, then develops into a different type of sound more spacious and reverberant. Monotron was connected to the laptop soundcard input and Live's effects were used to liven up the sound and to add reverb.I think the cable I used to connect the monotron to the computer is noisy. I know the monotron itself is quite noisy, but this cable seems to make it worse. So there is quite a bit of hiss in the recording. Sorry about that. |
