| 描述: | 20 December 2009 At the metal artist Sullivan Walsh's workshop in Brooklyn ( http://www.walshmetalworks.com/ ), striking a size A oxygen cylinder ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_cylinderSizes ) with a steel hammer, creating a church belltype sound. I added a few effects such as reverb, delay and pitch shifting to simulate a churchbellclockstriking 10. The spaces between the hour strikes are slightly different lengths, because I made them for a friend to fit what they were saying on their voice recording. The basement workshop featured constant sounds of building plumbing and such. I filtered out as much of them as I could, but some white noise is still present between strikes. Recorded with Shure Beta 58A, MAudio Firewire 410 sound card and 13 inch Macbook with Garageband, and edited with Garageband. |
