| 描述: | This is a recording of the waves splashing over the top of the seawall that defends the coast along Crosby beach. At the time of this recording, a high spring tide was coinciding with a strong passing winter storm creating huge waves and gale force winds which pushed the tied up high enough so that the waves began to break over the seawall and on to the promenade. I was standing on a small sand dune behind the promenade and you can hear the sound of the waves occasionally splashing over the wall, and a huge wave at 0:33, which comes nearly to my position. It was of course very windy, and unfortunately, the wind noise was very apparent on the original recording, even though I was using the fairy windshield and a sock I have attempted to EQ out some of the wind noise and this is the result. Does it sound any good? Well that is for you all to decide. Recording date: 2014/01/03Recording location: crosby, liverpool, merseyside, UK. Recording equipment: olympus LS14 digital recorder internal cardioid microphones. EQ applied in audacity on Mac OSX. |
