Conversation snippets from the crowd of passersby, busy traffic and, standing out vividly, the characteristic announcements of the lottery street sellers. They shout rhythmically their mantras, with special attention on those days to the forthcoming ‘El Gordo de Navidad’ (the most popular and emblematic prize of the national lottery in Spain, celebrated traditionally on 22nd Dec every year).
