| 描述： | This recording is part of the microphonecomparisontrafficwavsample pack. The three samples in this series were recorded simultaneously (fromapproximately the same position) with three different standard stereomicrophone arrangements: midside (mixed into LR), XY cardioid, andwith a Jecklin disk. The 2'40" recordings capture automobile traffic passing from right to leftand left to right directly in front of the microphoneon a country road in New Jersey (USA) on September 9, 2006. Thereis considerable ambient sound audible, mostly from a proliferation of crickets. This recording was made with a Rode NT4 XY stereo microphone (witha Rycote "Windjammer") connected to a Marantz PMD671 digitalrecorder at 96K/24bits. |
