| 描述： | this recording was made on a winter camping trip to smarts mtn (white mtns, new hampshire) in february2006. i dangled the mic just above water level at a quickly movingstream that was mostly frozen over with distinct sheets of ice. thelayers of ice created a sort of cavernous resonating chamber for therushing water, so the range of tones is very wide, including somepretty deep bass notes and an erratic higherpitched 'melody' line. marimbalike at times. stereo recording: sony ecmds70p > minidisc. |
