| 描述： | Odukkal is one of the several gamakas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamaka_28music29) in Carnatic music. In this recording, done at IIT Madras in India, the artist performs the Odukkal gamaka. The process of performing it involves the artist singing a swarasthana (note region), moving up to the next one and coming back to where he started. The artist performs this gamaka several times in a raaga called Kalyani. |
