| 描述： | Careful It's louder than it looks. These two sounds were originally created with VirSyn Poseidon (and by me of course). Using a Bitmap image to generate the spectrum and playing around with the various parameters, I ended up with a messy random noise. Well this is no good I thought. Time to deploy my beloved dtblkfx and treated it to four instances of positive contrast at 100 which pretty much kicked all of the teeth out of that ugly mother. Upon the few remaining teeth I inflicted the mighty Trash on that aural/dental disaster. The softer sounding one was stretched before hand and uses gentler distortion. The other is at original time but with more drive. Both were heavily gated/compressed to introduce fast attacks abrupt transients (whatever) before the distortion phase. I chose one of the untraditional box models "aluminium dust", and finally delay in buzz. Lots of tinkering, so many choices, so many variables. Further processed with Ozone 4, Vintage warmer, smearing and reverb from Reflect. Far from perfect though. Don't let the wave display fool you, these still have quite strong frequencies, I just don't have the expertise to fix it without ruining the overall sound. |
