| 描述: | Bunte Vogellieder Various Bird songs conducted by J.W. Lang (my great grandfather). Performed and recorded by the New York Zither Club sometime in the 1930 or 40's to 78 rpm record. Converting 78 records is problematic, as most turntables do not play that speed. Since my 78 rpm turntable needs a new stylus I needed to use my Technics SL1200... I know... I cringed as I put my good stylus down on that old record... but I figured it'd be ok for just one play. If you need to convert an old 78rpm record... Someone with more math skills could probably tell you the exact sample rate and/or pitch change, but here's how I did it: I recorded the turntable (set to 45rpm) at 22,050Hz Then I just changed the sample rate to 44,100 (without resampling) That doubled the speed (probably to 90rpm) I corrected the overspeed by changing the pitch 2 semitones and 30.6 Cents. I probably could have changed the pitch on my turntable instead to get closer to halfspeed... but again I didn't have a sliderule handy still... I think it's pretty close. |
