| 描述: | This is a recording of a lightning strike from an estimated distance of 6001000 feet, followed by steady mediumlight rain. I understand that there is a method of determining distance based on the DC spike, although I have not figured out how to do this. If you can figure it out, please leave your findings in a comment and I will update the distance in the description. Recorded from front window (open) with Zoom H1 and Audio Technica AT2020 USB Microphone. This storm occurred in Eastern Pennsylvania during the Summer of 2013. This storm generated cloud rotations which resulted in the National Weather Service providing a tornado watch, although no tornadoes ended up being confirmed. |
