| 描述: | This was me testing out my new Zoom H4n recorder (my first official piece of pro audio equipment YAY). Recording was done with the builtin condenser mics at a 120 degree XY nearcoincident configuration. Location was at Smithville Lake in Smithville, MO (probably 30 feet off the water) shortly after an allday thunderstorm had come through the area (temperature was dropping pretty quick too, so birds weren't as active as they could've been...which is good in my opinion otherwise the recording would've been BIIIRRRRRRDDDDDDSSSSSS lol) in a small wooded area. No leaves were on the trees yet, just some buds. It would've been longer but the wind picked up a LOT and become just obnoxious, even with the cheapo windscreen I had over the mics. I did EQ a little after listening to the recording at home to get rid of some of the self noise hiss, but just a few dB in the upper mid frequencies and and in very low frequencies to get rid of some quiet drone rumble. Can't wait to get some real mics and windscreens |
