| 描述: | The Hindenburgschleuse, a canal lock, was build between 1919 and 1928 in Hannover / Germany. It is one of the largest locks in Europe and on the the Mittellandkanal more then 20000 ships are passing it every year. On this recording one can hear the water beingdischarged, before the gates are opened and a barge passes by. Theopening of the gate, which is pulled up, sounds pretty spooky. I wasusing the Sharp MDDR 470H minidisk player and the Soundman OKM II to record all this in May 2007. |
