| 描述： | This recording of gray whale (Eschrichtius robustus) vocalizations is part of a series of recordings from an oceanic soundscape project using a deepsea cabled observatory off the California coast. More information about this research project is available in a publication. The recording was made on 18 August 2015. © 2015 Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute Thanks to Tetyana Margolina for identifying the vocalizations. These examples are from a 10minute period; recording between calls was shortened to focus on the calls. Some gray whale M1 calls are also included (sound like a knock). |
