| 描述： | This library was recorded in the surroundings of the Hacienda Santa Blanca (house built in mid 1800's) located in the highlands of Chanchamayo – Peru, the high jungle. During the months of September and October the insects known locally as campaneros or chicharras (cicadas in english) are in mating season. The males sing in high frequencies to attract their mate. This natural music is heard throughout the jungle several times a day. Hacienda Santa Blanca by Millie Wissar is part of the Xperimental Sound Lab, a free sound collection curated by Thalamus Lab. |
