| 描述: | PELL is HERE. My assignment was the very talented Tobias Weber which is really cool because I’ve been listening to his music intently all year due we at ArtisTech helped launch his incredible album with Billy Ray Drums. I downloaded a bunch of his stems, with grand intentions. Alas, his guitar instrumental pack was so delicately gorgeous, it seemed to stand beautifully on its own. I wrote the words and lyrics to Shambhala on a plane (hopefully I wasn’t singing too loudly for others to hear LOL). There was really no thought to any of it, it just streamed out. I realized after I read all of the words, the song describes my deeper desire to unplug from the Matrix that is predominantly our world, and return to stillness and nature. In a way, my life is already that way. But I guess my higher self is telling me it is time to take it to another level perhaps. I must give credit where it is due — I borrowed a couple of different writings from Henry David Thoreau that I built upon for the chorus. And there’s tip of the hat in the very end to John Lennon as well. A special thanks to Spinmeister for pitchadjusting Tobias’s guitar. I didn’t realize he’d played with an alternate tuning until I started to record my keyboard parts — and they were just a couple of cents off. Unfortunately pitchshifting on my keyboard is limited to semitones. And for whatever crazy reason, my Elastic Audio PitchShifting plugin just wouldn’t shift anything. After watching numerous tutorials and swearing with frustration for a few hours, I pinged Niels and he shifted everything and got it back to me very quickly. So thank you so very much Spin Tobias, your guitar playing is so lovely. And this melody really inspired me. Thank you for helping me give birth to this new song. Shambala is waiting Peace. Shambhala by Madam Snowflake Where the wind sings a sweet silence Only birds understand And green stretches for miles Sea caresses the sand In a place I can hide Runaway from it all No more crowds, vacant noise Gladly fades to memory Shambhala is waiting There’s a new life Far away from this all Only sound is the voice Of the Mother surrounding me Shambhala is waiting Live the life You imagine Awaken and reawaken Heaven under your feet Oh imagine, just imagine One with nature and science Observing firsthand All my wrongs reconciled Through harmony with the land In a place I can hide Runaway from it all Eden’s a choice Returning with fruit from the tree Shambhala is waiting There’s a true life Far away from this all Endless stars in the void Never cease to astound me Shambhala is waiting Live the life You imagine Awaken and reawaken Heaven under your feet Oh imagine, just imagine I always knew I’d leave one day Ayn Rand showed me the way Wrote myself clues to go back to the garden In my Valhalla There’s a true life Gotta shrug and unplug from it all Now I’ve done what I can With my heart and my hands now knowing Shambhala is waiting Live the life You imagine Awaken and reawaken Heaven under your feet Oh imagine, just imagine Living life in peace With a dreamer just like me Heaven over our heads also under our feet Oh Imagine, just imagine I always knew I’d leave one day For my Shambhala |
