| 描述： | Recorded at 03:40 hours on Wednesday July 1st 2009 in Crosby, north of Liverpool, united kingdom. This recording is of the second part of a thunderstorm that was quite distant, but yet quite loud. When it began the thunder claps were few and far between. But by the time it went away it had developed into a moderate thunderstorm with more frequent Thunder. This recording begins when the heaviest rain passes through. The rain then slowly calms, until it stops all together allowing the thunder to be heard more clearly. a nother storm encroaches from the south, and the first storm recedes into the distance. there are some loud thunderclaps and deep rumbles. The lightning atmospherics is heard on an untuned AM radio as a short crackling sound when the lightning flashes. Most of the lightning strikes are cloud to ground and there is a chance that the lightning strikes at 0:55 and 12:33 may have been superbolts, (bolts from the top of the cloud because there thunder stands out from the rest of the thunder by sounding much more explosive and powerful. Recorded with the Olympus DS50 digital recorder and a Panasonic Binaural Headset Microphone placed on the outside windowsill of my bedroom window. edited with Wavepad sound editor and equalized in goldwave. |
