| 描述: | First attempt at a seamlessloop recreation of something similar to (but not exactly like) one of several layered sound effects from the original Star Trek series used for some unspecified bridge function or lab equipment. I didn't get particularly close to the overall feel of the sound I studied when creating the Analog Box 2 circuit that generated it, but it has multiple similar qualities. It is similar enough that a ST:TOS fan might recognize what it was inspired by, but it is also different enough that you could layer it in other contexts and listeners would likely not even make the connection with Star Trek. It has an almost analoglike realrecording feel to it, even though it totally synthetic. This was created with Analog Box but then edited in Cool Edit Pro for some final FFT filtering and to create a seamless loop from it. One nice thing about using an Analog Box circuit is that I can change about 100 different parameters that go into making the various qualities of the sound output, so it is very customizable. This is just one possibility from that circuit. |
