| 描述: | Noon atmo on the National Mall in Washington D.C. next to the Washington Monument. The recorder is on the outer ring path around the monument, facing north towards the Ellipse and the White House. Lots of sirens from diverse fireengines, EMS vehicles and police cars can be heard in the far range speeding down Constitution Ave. What sounds (and can well be used... ;) ) like a scene from a catastrophe movie is, in fact, simply the safety detail for Marine One, the President's helicopter, returning to their various bases in the city after the President has safely disembarked. The helicopter itself, as well as it's famous twin, can be heard near the end of the recording.Recorded in March 2012 with a Zoom H2, mics set to 90° dispersion. |
