| 描述： | The bronze temple bell of the Byodoin Temple in the Valley of the Temples Cemetery just outside Kaneohe, Hawaii. The bell was cast in Japan and had been installed in a free standing bell tower, as is customary in Japan, and can be rung by anyone who passes by. It's timbre and sound reminded me very much of the bronze bell in Hiroshima called the Peace Bell, which is in a tower directly across the river from the Technical School ruins. |
